Ranking and Unranking Methods

The easiest way to rank an option is to Quick Rank it by clicking the arrow button.
Quick Rank was designed to reduce the amount of time you need spend scrolling or dragging options around.
Click the upwards arrow on any option below the divider to quick rank an option.
click the downwards arrow on any option above the divider to quick unrank an option.
To further adjust options, there is a handle at the left most edge of options that looks like a 3x3 grid of dots. To use the handle, click and drag it up or down the list of options to change the rank of the option.
If you'd like to precisely rank an option to an exact rank number you can click into the rank field and enter the rank number you'd like that option to have.
For example you could enter the number 3 to set an option to rank 3.
If there was already a different option in rank 3 this would bump it down to rank 4 and bump any other ranked options below rank 3 by 1.
You'll also be able to rank the child options of the MetaPoll. Since parent options are defined by how their child options are ranked, not ranking the child options you care about would reduce the influence of your voice. It's recommended to rank all child options you care about, however anything you don't have an opinion or preference on can be left unranked.
By clicking the right side of the option you want to go in that has a number and arrow displayed.
Remember that you don't need to rank every option, only the options you care about.
Great work! You now know the 3 ways we can change the rank of options during voting.
